Happy “Christmas” - 2009

In our country Nepal, ‘Dashain & Tihar’ is an important festival to all the Hindu people which is also called the festival of joy and happiness for Hindu people likewise ‘Christmas’ is also one of the important festival mostly celebrated by Christians. It falls on 25th December. This festival is celebrated worldwide on their own way. It is a festival of goodwill for all. It stands for love and kindness to all.
Although I am a Hindu boy, I believe in all the religion because all the religion leads us to only one way i.e. the path of truth. I respect all the religion equally. ‘Christmas’ is celebrated on the Birthday of “Lord Jesus Christ”. On this fine date 25th December he emerged in this world. He was an angle who showed us a new path to achieve Peace and happiness in this world. We all are human beings. Knowingly or unknowingly we may perform different kinds of sins. And we believe that he was sent by God for our shake, to make us free from any kinds of sins, to save us and to make us stop from doing any kinds of bad perform. He was so kind and he took all the punishment of our mistake upon his shoulder and he was being hung on the cruse. He saved all of us. On this 25th December on the occasion of his birthday we all celebrate and enjoy celebrating ‘Christmas’.

‘Christmas’ is celebrated in all the countries. In Nepal also many people celebrate it. I haven’t witnessed but I have heard that in western countries all the people from children to old people celebrate it very nicely with lots of enjoyable events. They celebrate it for one week till 31st December. They decorate their homes. Greetings are sent to friends and relatives. Christmas trees are put up. People go to church.  People sing Christmas Carols. They say Merry Christmas to one another. They wear new clothes and give presents to each other.  Santa Claus comes and gives presents to all the children.
So, for our uncle and aunt in Holland (Netherlands) and America it is very wonderful festival. Obviously it is very enjoyable hour for all of you.  So, on this occasion I will like to wish you all ‘Merry Christmas’ on the behalf  of all my brother and sister and all the staffs of “Shree Saraswati Children Home”.
