The Duhabi Children's Home is the Foundation's second project. The main building (in Itahari) has in the past been renovated with the help of our Foundation. It was too small for the 35 children it housed, and therefore unhygienic. To overcome this we built a new building in the nearby town of Duhabi. Here around 28 children are taken care of, including several physically handicapped children.

Despite support from the local community, there is always a need for extra funding. The Foundation contributes towards the costs of medicine, food, care and education. A classroom has been set up so that these children can be home-schooled. This is crucial because they are already lagging behind in their education. The foundation also pays for the costs of schooling.
